This book discusses how the people of Madina during the Salaf generations were the most correct and towards the Sunnah than any other city including Makkah, Kufa, etc.
This is vital in today’s times when most Muslims tend to follow blindly the works of latter day STUDENTS of the four well-known pious Imams: Abu Hanifa, Ash-Shafi, Malik and Ahmad bin Hambal (May Allah Be Please With Them All), who have abandoned the main rule of the aforemetioned pious Imams. This rule they made clear, was to prioritise the Sunnah whether Sahih or Hasan or acceptable by the Muslim Scholars and reject any of their opinions which contradicted with the Sunnah. The reason for the main rule for Fiqh, as they stated, was that they were humans and had tendencies to change their opinion from one day to the next.
It is worth noting as the books informs how Abu Hanifa’s most prominent student, Abu Yusuf, followed his teacher’s (Abu Hanifa) teaching by abandoning those opinions which contradicted the Sunnah and accepting the valid Madinan practices and opinions based on the Sunnah of The Prophet of God (May God Praise and Bless Him).
